Organized, brands I buynGeneral manager isn't the most recommended. She is gruff

I don't know that I have actually ever been to this store, but we have family in the area and we use the floral department to send flowers. We call from far away and ask for a beautiful arrangement to be sent and within a short amount of time, our family there receives prize-worthy bouquets from the floral department. Each time we call (once a year), we have been helped by a very kind and patient lady who promises us a wonderful arrangement and each time our family has given it great reviews. Thank you! We will be making our yearly call very soon! (The kind lady there is 'Amy', if I remember correctly.)

This is a great grocery store. We enjoy coming here to shop for things when we visit The Dalles. They have wonderful produce and a wonderful variety of snacks. The store is really big and they offer a very nice selection of products. Things are very easy to find and prices are very affordable. I shopped at this store when I lived there and for me it's always nice to go back too. The employees are so nice and very helpful to their customers. I would highly recommend this store if your in the area. The service is wonderful and the employees make you feel so welcome. They also have a pharmacy, florist. Bakery and starbucks. So they provide many services other than grocery shopping.

Stopped on Saturday evening for snacks..had to go back to Fred Meyers (AGAIN) This location is ALWAYS out of AD items, and when it's hot outside..ice cream case is empty! Hood River Safeway never let's me down! They are 30 minutes further away, but their shelves/coolers are always fully stocked! If they can keep their location full, why can't The Dalles?

Not all of the customers in the store had PPE on. There were no carts at one end of the store, and no one on hand wiping them down with disinfectant at the other end.nThat being said, they had a great selection of produce, and their meats were beautiful.
