When we decided to build a house, we wanted it to be everything we ever wished we had, and include all the things over the years that we loved about our other houses. Things like a south facing driveway, large open living spaces, a modern aesthetic, phenomenal views, an art studio, and outdoor spots to enjoy North Dakota's summers. The process we went through with Plain View Designs was so creative and fun. They got to know us and really spent time being thoughtful about the design. They took into consideration the build site and how we could maximize the views and sun, but minimize wind. They even helped us plan out a place to hide our garbage cans. We wanted simple yet dreamy and that's exactly what we got. They are absolute artists when it comes to modern design.
Tanner and Logan are currently building my house and I couldn't be more happy about having them with me in this process. My house design and build are unique and they have taken all the challenges that have come along with it and done a great job. They are innovative and strive to create a home that is not only perfect for their customer but also unique to the area. As a first time home owner, I didn't want to buy a fixer upper, but building a house seemed out of reach and they have made it possible!
We purchased a home with the intent on adding on and completely remodeling it, but had no idea of what we wanted to do. Tanner at Plain View was able to provide us with a vision, then ultimately detailed plans of our forever home. We are so happy we used such a professional service for something so important to us.
