Very sad looking cemetery. I see this from the freeway and it just looks very... poor. Instead of a chain link fence separating it from the freeway they should have a more private wall. This is place meant for its residents to forever rest in peace. Desert landscape is nice but it needs a privacy wall.
Its a very historical place for Tempe and Arizona. I am very happy to be able to go there. One thing upset me was that there is not a map of all the amazing ppl that helped start this town!!!! But i am also upset that there is not a road map of historical Tempe also!!!
Does anyone know if this cemetery is at all haunted? I'm just curious because it really does look like it is, it looks so decrepted and to be honest it looks really scary, especially at night!!
Quiet cemetery. Nice views. Good for wildlife sightings. Close by is a hike up double Butte hill.
