We were visiting Reno and had a chance to order one customized cake for a birthday celebration and try 2 other signature cakes by the slice.nLoved everything! These cakes are beautifully designed, not too sweet and it feels like quality ingredients are used!nWe live in the Bay area where the quality of cakes is low while the prices are 2-3 times higher. I wish I had a bakery like this in my neighborhood!nOrdering our cakes from Franz’s was a great idea and a highlight of our celebration.nnThanks!
This bakery doesn’t get the credit it deserves because it is absolutely wonderful. Great homemade regional pastries that you won’t find anywhere else in Reno. The quality is great and those in the shop were great to talk to. Friendly, great atmosphere from a true master of his craft. Absolutely great place to visit, even something as simple as the ham and cheese croissant is beyond any I’ve seen in other locations.

Such a cute shop! Not your typical scones and croissants, they have more unique pastries as well as some classics. It's a great selection of good quality and delicious treats! The owner was so kind! Overall great experience, can't wait to return!
Fast. We lucked out in getting apple strudel! Apricot pie is delicious, bit sweeter than I want, but the crust stays crumbly shortbread and it's amazing toasted!
