I had previously left a 5 star review regarding the body work they did fixing the door on my 1965 Mustang convertible. So, when I wanted to get the wiring in the car replaced I felt confident bringing it back. So much so that I ordered an EFI system for the car as well. $6,125 later and this is what I was left dealing with: 1) The first time I went back to pick up the "finished" car it was idling at somewhere near 2500 rpm and the negative post to the battery was loose. The nut not halfway on!The EFI was not wired directly to the battery as clearly stated it should be in the Holley instruction manual. So I left it with the understanding these things would be taken care of. The second time I went to pick it up the idle was high but reasonable and the EFI seemed properly wired so I took it home. After close inspection at home I found: 2) The windshield wipers were non-op. 3) The shifter bezel light was non-op When I proceeded to address these issues myself I found these hidden problems; 4) The new fuse box was only held in with 1 screw and rotated so the top of the fuse box was pressed against the vent leaving it totally inaccessible. 5) The wire harness from the fuse box was twisted so it pressed against the reciprocating arm of the wipers. (A good thing they weren't working) 6) The wire harness relay cluster, that was clearly instructed to be mounted behind the dash before the relays were installed, was simply shoved in behind the A/C unit, next to the gas pedal, loose. 7) The positive lead to the subwoofer was disconnected from the battery and left dangling on the headers - melted. 8) The lead from the 02 sensor likewise was laying across the header. Melted half way through.. 9) Wires that would have been better loosely fitting were stretched tight. 10) The wire for the fuel pump was run loose, underneath the trunk mat. The full width of the trunk rather than through the floor and halfway across the car to the pump. They did replace the noisy exterior pump with an internal model at no additional cost...however 11) the wires to the pump were crimped and poorly covered with electrical tape. 12) The lead wire for the fuel gauge running unprotected along the underside of the car all the way to the front. 13) Wire harnesses passed through jagged holes in the firewall with no protective grommets in place. 14) And most importantly of all, where they cut the stock fuel line to install the original EFI fuel filter, they replaced the now unnecessary filter with just a short piece of standard fuel line (NOT #1 rated) where the metal line had been cut and a single hose clamp on either side. This caused fuel to leak under pressure DIRECTLY ONTO THE HOT EXHAUST PIPE NEXT TO THE FUEL TANK! This was the last straw. I fixed most of the other items myself, but this last could very well have turned my car and my home into an inferno or worse, could have caused injury or death! Needless to say - TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! I am calling them tomorrow to resolve. I will follow up this post with the results. Summation; TMR has SERIOUS quality control problems. Their practices and attention to detail are so poor they cost me hours of time and grief fixing things I paid good money to have done right and could have cost me my car, my home or worse. Consider this before you take anything there for service. NEXT MORNING UPDATE: Brent assured me he wants it right. Said he will come and get it and make necessary repairs. Look, things go wrong sometimes. I've dealt with services who told me to get lost once they had my money. No recourse other than to sue. If a shop is willing to make things right it goes a long way with me. If the problems are made right I'll update again.------- Situation now AOK. Brent did what he said and made it right. Revising my review from one to 3 stars. While other stuff was a headache the body work was exemplary!

If I could give it a zero I would do just that. Thousands of dollars of paid repair had to be redone. Instead of cutting out and replacing bad parts they simply covered the damaged. Awful waste of time and money. If you’re shopping i’d recommend you go somewhere else. Customer service was as bad as the repair. The owner is almost never there when the final bill is thousands more than the original quote.
