Cake my mother ordered through the mail from another bakery didn't show up in time for my grandmother's 91st birthday. Day of I went to solitros and they were able to freshly make a cake for me very quickly while I waited. Awesome service and the cake was delicious, yellow cake with vanilla cream inside. My grandmother loved it and she is very critical of cakes as she was a professional baker herself.nnHave been coming here for years and always a great place for pizza strips and and other treats. They also have the best pizza dough in the area if you like to make homemade pizza.
Best bread, spinach pies, pizza, calzones ...you name it!! There is so much history attached to this establishment and shows in every product that day sell. Anything you buy is HAND MADE, and comes with 100% authenticity.nNot to mention when you walk in the door you feel like family. There aren’t many establishments like this anymore, Solitro‘s is a true gem!

Good old time bakery. Ladies are quick and everything is yum.
Ordered a Zuppa Inglesia cake a couple of weeks ago. Very disappointing. It had a very verg strong taste of licorice, which I don't care for. The decor of the cake was poor. The filling and cake layers uneven. Overall appearance marginally ok. The taste definitely not something I would go back for. Had to pick it up on Sunday because there closed for a holiday on Monday. The cream on the cake tasted funny. The bakery itself looks clean and had a nice layout. The emplyees were very kind, courteous and very helpful. They are great! They definitely need to improve their cake decorating skills and cake making.
