I have rented from Mansfield Penske several times. They always have worked with me to find best prices and called to confirm my pickup. Nothing but positive experiences.
I had reservation made for the 12 October 2018 at 2:30 pm and came in from North Carolina at 12:30 pm and called to see if I could get truck early. Rental lady was very courteous and said truck was waiting on me. Arrived at location and was back on the road within 10 minutes. Truck was clean and just as one would expect. Returned truck after hours and called the next business day to confirm check in. Everything was good and credit card was billed correctly. Will definitely use this location in the future.
BUYER BEWARE. According to Penske, a week is 6 days. We were told verbally we had the truck for one week (understanding 7 days) and were charged over $100 “late fee”for returning on 7 days instead of 6. a week is 7 days ud83dude44. Also, promised a dolly and didn’t have the dolly we needed. Moving states is hard enough in itself and Penske hassle had added even more stress. Will NEVER use them again!nnWill contact the BBB! I am absolutely floored at the unprofessional ethics of this company!
I would rate zero stars if possible. I rented a truck a month in advance online, Penske was not able to deliver upon the predetermined pick up time. In turn, forcing me to scramble to find another truck from another company. I will be taking my business to Uhaul or any other entity at this point. I highly recommend you don’t waste your time or money with Penske and save yourself a headache.
