We have a pair of bar height swivel chairs that match our dining room set. We’re remodeling and decided to go with a counter height island, but had trouble finding chairs we liked as much as the ones we have already. Blackstone converted our current chairs to counter height and now they’re perfect. The owner answered my emails right away, the price was reasonable and the job was finished ahead of the estimated time. I would definitely use them again.

Dan and the entire team at Blackstone Furniture Restorers were truly fantastic to work with. Not only did Dan respond to my email in less than 24 hours and on a Saturday no less, but he also completely restored 3 of my pieces (trunk, corner table and rocking chair) 2 weeks earlier than expected. In addition, their prices were the most reasonable in the area as I spoke with two other restoration companies who’s prices couldn’t come close. You couldn’t put your trust or furniture in better hands than Dan and his team at Blackstone Furniture Restorers.

We recently had a 1850 Federation Table stripped and refinished by Dan and his team. They were excellent to work with, were very knowledgeable, made great suggestions, and took the time to explain the entire process involved in restoring this table. They also completed the restoration in a timely fashion. We were so pleased with the restored table that we have already asked Dan for a quote on a second refinishing project.nnWe highly recommend Blackstone if you have a furniture refinishing/restoration requirement.

Dan McAuliffe is a miracle worker! We are so grateful for the really beautiful job he's done for us on 5 chairs -- restoration & reupholstery in each case, 3 armchairs & 2 side chairs. One of the armchairs had been chewed up by our dog and was in terrible shape; one of the side chairs had a poorly repaired leg. They all look like new - just gorgeous. Both the restoration & the upholstery top notch - better than we could have imagined.
