We run a nonprofit for the homeless and rent vans several times a week.nnToday was my first time at this location. I was little wary because of some of the reviews, but those reviews were so far off.nnMy rental was smooth and perfect thanks to Sue at the counter inside. She was extremely welcoming and polite, not to mention attentive and she helped get me the van (with a FOB) that I needed.nnIt could not have gone any better. Definitely feel confident renting from this location.

The van was ready to go and they didn't hassle me on the gas I added after I showed him a picture of the gauge when I took the van. Tolls also included a reasonable fee of $1. I wish they would have le me use the men's room when I returned the van. Otherwise service was excellent.

It just doesn’t get any worse than this. Awful U-Haul location. The staff are terrible. They let you book a one way U-Haul reservation and then the day before they tell you that the reservation can’t be fulfilled and you can only rent local trucks. Well, what’s the point of the reservation? The rep on the phone then had the audacity to claim they were transparent in the email. Literally a complete joke! Rest assured, I will be calling corporate for a refund!!!nnThe U-Haul I received had a gas tank that was almost completely empty. I told the manager this and his response was that “the tank is not empty, but it’s almost empty.” Just about as poor customer service as it gets.

Worst Customer Service ever.nnThey were treating me and the others customers with arrogance and immaturity, we are not begging for your services, we are paying for it, as a customer, we have have to respect team, but we deserve respect as well.

If I could give this place, zero stars I would. Let me paint a picture. Think about the bottom of society; these are the people who work at this location. Lack of professionalism and general motivation in life is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to lack. This is the epitome of the U-Haul Chelsea location. Believe the other reviews.nnTo add insult to injury, the worker bee who waited on me was the MANAGER! What is the hardship of having my order ready from TWO DAYS ago?! And WHY don’t you have twine or something to tie boxes together in order to make it easier for a 5’-2” woman to carry 10 small boxes and 1 medium?! You’re supposed to be in the transport business!nnThis place is the absolute pits. Moving is stressful as it is without the bottom of the barrel waiting on you. SKIP!
