Alpha Moving & Storage

We used Alpha for our move 2 weeks ago and from start to finish they provided the best moving experience we have ever had. Our initial FaceTime call with Andrew was friendly, thorough and the price was less expensive than some other companies we quoted. Our team of 4 movers went above and beyond as well. They arrived early and were courteous every step of the way. They finished ahead of schedule and managed to add an element of fun to what can be a very stressful day. We could not be happier with everything and recommend them any chance we get.

My wife and I recently moved to Jersey City from the Bronx. We couldn't have been happier with our moving experience. The moving crew were all very professional, courteous, and extremely quick both with the loading and unloading. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We even had some unforeseen last minute changes to our moving schedule and they accommodated us 100% at the same price originally quoted. Just an all around excellent experience. We will be using the company again for any moving needs in the future.

Professional, communicative, responsive and efficient. Due to some unique circumstances at my old + new buildings I was moving to, we needed Alpha to start our move at 7 AM. All four men showed up at 6:45 and finished the entire move by noon. With moving as stressful as it is, you want a team that will put your mind at ease, and Alpha Moving did just that. Literally everything you could ask for from a moving company. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a moving company.

I booked Alpha Moving and Storage as my moving company without doing any research, strictly based on a recommendation from my realtor. Turned out to be a tremendous recommendation. I couldn't have been happier with Alpha. I was having my floors refinished so my move date was up in the air because I didn't know when they would be ready to walk on. Alpha was super accommodating. After a snowstorm delayed work on the floor I had to push back the preliminary date I gave them which I was able to do with a 30 second phone call, no issues. Once booked, I received a zoom call to show them everything I needed moved (covid procedure) and an estimate was given shortly thereafter.nnFast forward to moving day. Right on time a large truck showed up at my house with 4 movers. Shortly after they arrived it seemed like half my furniture was taken apart and packed up before I could blink. These guys were great and super fast. Everything was thoroughly packed with care to avoid damages. When we got to the new house I was a little worried about the recently finished floors but these guys were awesome about being careful. All my furniture was moved in and put back together except the refrigerator that I wanted in the basement. The interior stairs going downstairs were too narrow for it to fit. The only other option was the stairs and entry from the backyard, but there was a good foot of snow and ice back there. Most companies would have said we can't do it and put the fridge in the garage. Not Alpha. These guys carried a heavy refrigerator up steps, across an icy deck, down the deck steps, then down about 10 icy steps to the exterior basement door. I couldn't believe they were able to get it done. If you or anyone you know needs a moving company Alpha is the way to go.

Everyone on this team was great! The move went seamlessly and was even quicker than planned for. Would absolutely recommend to anyone moving!
