Extra Space Storage

Extra Space Storage I have only had to use a storage unit one other time in the past, which was in AZ. It was at the mercy of the outside temps. This company had so many units that I was just another EFT every month. The Extra Space Storage that I was referred to is brand new state of the art (seriously). They keep the temps perfect year-round so I don’t need to sweat how hot or cold it is. They have two large push carts on each side of their units (4 TOTAL!) on the ground floor right next to their East and West side HUGE elevators, that are security coded so no one can go wandering inside the halls of the units. I was VERY impressed with the manager Justin. This guy is on point, very down to earth, personable and extremely knowledgeable. He asked me all the right questions and had the experience needed to get me into the EXACT size unit I needed. Didn't pay for space I didn't need, per his guidance and my stuff isn't stacked to the ceiling waiting to fall on me. Beware he is a DIE-HARD Cubs fan. Based on his professionalism and my overall experience I have no doubt he will win you over too. Justin's and his Extra Space Storage are on 5459 S. Commerce Dr SLC 84107. Exit 5300 S then go back S. for 1/4 a mile. You can't miss the building its 3 Stories and state of the art Tell him Kyle C. sent you. Who knows he may give you a little extra move in love, like a promo or some other special.....??

Justin Wilson helped to explain everything thoroughly & efficiently. He sold me on this company for giving me everything that I want for a storage unit. Each unit is temperature controlled, safe, insured, clean, multi levels, easy access, and many carts to get items transferred. It is classy in every way. This is my second time renting a space with them & I couldn't get my door open after a packing job that was done in a hurry. The Assistant Store Manager - Matt Bush cheerfully volunteered to come open it for me. He then went the extra mile and volunteered to reorganize it for me since it wasn’t packed well. When Justin got there, they quickly stacked it like the pros that they are. My guy friends who had packed it the night before were so impressed when they saw it - they said "Sarah - you have to write a Google review for those guys." I totally agree! So biggest thank you to my heroes of the week Justin Wilson & Matt Bush! In the karma way - I hope that amazing blessings are headed your way. Oh and I really am still going to surprise y'all with Chic-fil-a!

Matt was amazing! He made my transition into extra space smooth and enjoyable. I had so many questions about doing adult things and they helped me every step of the way to ensure I was happy and satisfied with my unit. Great customer experience!! Would definitely recommend anyone to rent from this location in particular if your in need of extra storage!

I only had the unit for a couple of months but it was really nice. It was quick and easy to get it rented. After seeing it online, I walked in to see it in person and ask some questions and had my stuff moved in the same day. It is clean, climate controlled, and seems very secure. I felt comfortable leaving expensive items there. The elevators are big. I had a unit on the 3rd floor and was going in almost every day because I kept business inventory there. I sell big, heavy items and it was no problem having a 3rd floor unit. They have carts by the elevators to help carry big stuff, and I've had over 1500 lbs on a single cart before and it had no problem supporting the weight. I'm moving now but I liked this storage unit enough that if I ever need a storage unit again I'll first check if there's an Extra Space Storage nearby.

The facility is like shiny brand new, and super clean. Matt made the registration process very easy and fast. We feel like we got all the information we needed to start storing our stuff. Location is very convenient, right off the 53rd exit. Definitely recommend this place!
