Athan’s has become one of my favorite places since moving to Brighton Center. A great spot for a morning coffee and also love to treat myself with the pastries. So glad to have this staple in my life. Could not recommend more!!

The best thing about athans is the pricing, you can get a massive latte for about $3. I don’t like most of their pastries, I find most are way too sweet and not very flavorful. I do love their almond croissants however, they are crunchy on the outside and filled with a very rich almond paste inside. The only problem is they always run out by the time I go.
As an European, I appreciate european products and precise taste. Unfortunately, these pastries are not European. It could be that I visited this store during the pandemic, so the products were overstocked, so after purchasing several pastries this is what I found: Several were very old. The mousse was stale. Additionally, products used the same cake fillings, with a different design. So, there is no variation. Overall, these products don't fit my taste.
A lovely little bakery and brunch place with good food! Service is sometimes slow, but it's a charming place.
