The Home Depot

Back in probably January 2021 (this is overdue) I ran into this location right away in the morning. The company I work for as well as myself, we all do a lot of business here so we are always running in and out. On that particular day things were a bit different than normal, however. We recieved a very urgent call requiring a large amount of varying lumber and tools all to be delivered within an hour or so. The staff at this Chaska Home Depot did an outstanding job in aiding me. Not only were they also helping anther gentleman who came in unannounced with a large order but they were very efficient in how they got it done. The lumber I'd called in beforehand was already being prepared when I got there. From there I was waved over to a gal who helped me with the various bits and tools so we could both be working up and down the isle at once. Then from there she radioed into someone at the front counter as I brought the truck around to be loaded by the forklift. I came back to the counter to start scanning things through and bagging them to find that she had already started! A huge weight was lifted and I was in and out in 40 minutes or less beating my time with much to spare. An enormous shout out to all of the staff there including but not limited to Willy, Janet, Janine, the forklift guy as well as another guy who was perhaps a supervisor I'm not really sure. Either way, I could not have done it that day without you all so thanks so much again!nAlex

The Pro desk contacted an electrician to install a ceiling fan for me.nPete Cicconi of Twin Cities Electric, LLC, called me in the afternoon and came to my house within an hour. He took down a defective fan, and packed it, ready for me to return. He then installed another fan, and replaced the switch, and it works great! No more loud humming. He did a super job, and he’s a great guy! I will call him for any electrical problems I may have.

Great place for pretty much anything home improvement related, although the workers, especially in the lumber area, refuse to wear masks correctly.

I've been shopping with Home Depot for several years. They've been the primary supplier for a small business of mine and for any home renovation projects I have. Over the years, the customer service quality has deteriorated and their return policy has become extremely petty. I ordered product online in cases, of which they sold at a 36% higher price individually in store. I tried to return a partial case of unopened product in perfect condition, and was denied my return. Tried working with customer service to try to work something out, as the product was very expensive. There is no written return policy online, or in store, that states I wouldn't have been able to return the unused product. Taking my business elsewhere if this doesn't get resolved.

Go to home improvement store for quality products. Enjoy Rigid brand tools. Picked up a light for my nephew, also some quality hand tools. Observed some trying to steal a shopping cart full of power tools, caught by the entrance host.
