Love our new sofa! We worked with Michele Nester and she did a fantastic job helping us select just the right one. We needed a sofa that could complete the eclectic look we were hoping for, pulled the room together design-wise, and comfortable. She brought fabric samples to our house, which was helpful. It allowed us to take all of the current colors into consideration. Overall, we were pleased with the entire experience, from beginning to end. Thanks Michele :)
Used to be great service but visited in last year looking for sofa and designer was too busy on her computer to help with questions regarding custom Bennett sofa so I went home and ordered quick ship fabric samples. Never received so I bought custom Lexington sofa from local design firm in my hometown.
This review is for the Ethan Allen store in Birmingham, Michigan and reflects my experience with Laurie Mahnick, Design Consultant and the store manager, Pam. To start, I have been a loyal Ethan Allen customer for over 20 years and have purchased furnishings and decor for three homes in three different states. Up until my recent and first purchase experience at the Birmingham store, I would have gladly recommended Ethan Allen. Unfortunately, I cannot say that any longer and Ethan Allen has lost me as a loyal customer. Due to their lack of customer care and professionalism, I would urge anyone to find another retailer.nnThe one star given in the above rating is for the service center who does their best to pick up the pieces for the atrocious customer care and professionalism of their sales consultant and store manager.nn_______________nnI just reviewed your response and unfortunately, you’ve missed the point, again! My issue wasn’t that you made an error, even though you are in the custom ordering business! My issue is your lack of customer service and professionalism! I have NEVER received a call from Laurie since my furniture was delivered, incorrectly. NEVER - nothing! Secondly, Pam, the store manager, NEVER called me to follow up after I escalated to find out the status of my furniture! I’m incredulous that this is Ethan Allen!
The experience with my designer Michele Nestor was exceptional. She was very easy to work with, extremely patient and listened to what I was looking for before making suggestions. Once she did, her ideas were right on. While I was not sure about some at first, as they pushed me out of my comfort zone, they were ultimately perfect choices. Her furniture selections were excellent due to the amazing coordination of colors and fabrics. She also worked with the furniture and artwork I had and supplemented them just right. Her selection of accessories was exceptional as they brought all the pieces together adding a very inviting feel to each room. Couldn’t be happier due to Michele’s amazing design skills!
Our experience working with Michele Nestor in choosing furniture pieces for our new home was seamless! We had our own vision and she added her exceptional design skills making incredible furniture choices. Michele was nice enough to come to our new build and measure out the room in order to get size appropriate furniture.
