Pie Pan Restaurant & Bakery

We were there for lunch/dinner today. Food was ok, but very poor service. Our waitress was in another world. She seemed to want to talk with her other waitresses than to pay attention to her customers. Then, when I went to pay the bill she didn't have the correct change at the cash register and asked me if I needed the dime that was owed me. This is a great place for breakfast, but we will not be returning in the evening. The waitresses in the morning are great, in the evening, not so much!

My family came in last evening for dinner. We don’t go out a lot right now, but it was my mother’s birthday. The lady working greeted us promptly and told us she would be right with us, to have a seat wherever. I noticed she was toggling back and forth between multiple phone lines, answering questions from other employees, and seemed to be the only one up front. She still managed to give us amazing service! She was laughing with other tables, making jokes, answering NONSTOP phone calls, and giving directions to whomever was in the kitchen. I asked if they were understaffed and she explained they had some call ins and she apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused us. She brought out a piece of pie with a candle on top and sing happy birthday to my mother, and even stopped what she was doing to clean up a spill when my son dumped my drink on the floor. She did all this with a positive attitude. I assume she is a member of management, however I didn’t catch her name. I just want her superiors to know this young lady is outstanding!! Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

Always love eating here! The food is delicious and the service is excellent! A friendly, family environment that is always my kids first choice when we decide to go out to eat.

Very good locally owned family style restaurant. Great service, good food and large portions at a good price. Only thing keeping from 5 stars is the rather small and basic seating/atmosphere.

Had the catfish dinner with French fries and slaw. Service and food was very good. If there was any room for improvement it would be to add some celery salt to the slaw, it just came across as store bought slaw.
