I arrived at this hotel at approximately 11pm only to find out they cancelled my room because they were “overbooked.” The front desk person told me that it happens all the time. He also said that he tried to call me, but I have no missed calls. Thankfully I called the Hilton Diamond Desk and they made sure I had another room for the evening.nnAs someone who stays at many Hilton/Hampton hotels, I cannot in good faith recommend this one (Hampton Inn & Suites Opelika I-85 -Auburn Area)

My stay was not so good bed had stain duvets bathroom had hair in tub toilet floor wall in tub brought cleaner to clean bathroom that should not happen my room was 323 front desk staff was great

We stopped here to stay for the night. The front desk agent was very sweet and helpful, but the rooms were dirty.nThe first one we went to had urine on the floor near the toilet, and the bathroom smelled of urine. We requested a new room.nThe second had make up stains on a pillow case.nWe requested a refund and left.nI expect better from a Hampton as we are fans of this brand and use this brand frequently in our travels.

Pros:nEvery employee I encountered was extremely courteous and happy to help.nnThe property is well kept up with modern amenities.nnThe price was well worth the experience.nnCon:nNo matter what I set the air to, it never got cold on the side of the suite with the bed.nnI also wanted to note that the door wouldn't automatically lock when closed (it seemed to be broken). I'm sure this would have been fixed if I asked, so I can't really complain about it. Honestly it was more convenient to be able to push the door open without the key, and I wasn't worried about anything being taken from the room.
