This place is a hit or miss. Items are discounted but they do come with some small imperfections. Nothing major and not tolerable. But the staff here worth more comments. I used to come here a few years ago and the staff were pleasant. Not the same anymore - the current manager name starting A (she had her name tag upside down) is condescending and unprofessional. She is constantly complaining - now I have to clean this pot again, now I have to retake your information, please don’t touch anything etc etc. She is controlling and you can see the rest of her staff walks in toes around her. Not only she talks that way to her staff but also customers. Huh? I think she does not understand how she is getting paid. It’s the customers not your own ego. But whatever. I found a piece I wanted for about 30% off. With a small dent on the bottom. I call that a win with a sour taste.
I had the most pleasant sales experience with Paulette at the Somerville, MA Assembly Row store. She was nothing but professional, helpful, knowledgeable & personable throughout our interaction. It was difficult to find the pieces I’ve been wanting for so long & she certainly did a great job helping me buy them. I would definitely look to her to purchase more LC!
In a great experience you must have at least two things take place. A genuinely friendly person, and a very knowledgeable person. On my recent visit I encountered a staff member that had both, plus the love of the product she was selling. I went in expecting to buy one little thing, but walked out with 5 things due to the wonderful sakes lady, and the discounts that were going on. I would definitely return here if I’m in the area, and would recommend this place...
