This cannot be the way MAC the Woodlands mall, or Macy’s should be represented... they deserve better associates than what I experienced today.nnOn Saturday I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment for a makeup trial and was put on a “brief” hold for 5 minutes which was completely understandable given it was New Year’s Eve. I spoke to a girl on the phone who explained they only take walk ups Monday through Friday. She mentioned they had a girl in there who was waiting for a couple of hours already to do her makeup as a walk in. I asked if I could come in and check in to hold a spot then shop and she said no that it is first come first serve so I said okay. I went ahead and went in to wait even if it was a couple of hours.nWhen at the counter I talked to a nice and approachable young lady at the stand and asked if anyone was available for a walk in and she said the manager on the right was almost done and went to go check with her. She came back and said they wouldn’t be able to today because they had appointments later. I explained the girl on the phone said there were no appointments today so asked why do they have them now. The manager overheard then proceeded to leave her client then came over to us. She said in a loud and rude tone that that is not what she told me on the phone and she said there would just be someone available to maybe do eye shadow.. she never said anything on the phone about eye shadow.. she then said that another girl was leaving and the other had to go on break and that just leaves her. At this point she has gotten herself worked up and is making assertive hand gestures while explaining how she couldn’t help me. Never once did she willingly give me other times to come in. I had to ask her if I came in the next morning if she could put my name down or if I could wait. She responded again saying she didn’t know the schedule so she didn’t know but in the morning it was just one girl so she couldn’t guarantee anything. So as the manager you should have access to your own schedule but she wasn’t willing to take a moment to even look for me. She was basically saying anything she could to get me to leave and even if that was not her intentions it came off as hostile to me. I am a store manager of a big box retailer and would never raise my voice or use aggressive hand gestures towards a potential customer/client. This was very disappointing coming from such a world reknowned brand especially for such a high end location. I was in there at 1:15p at the center part of the counter. I strongly recommend reviewing footage if you have it and coaching the manager on duty Cat, on how to remain calm when answering every day questions.

Amazing service from the staff, professional experience, and so kind.

Had my makeup done for a Gala by Elaina! She is amazing! Showed her a few pics and we went over a few looks and came to the perfect smoky look! Will def request her in the future! She is sweet, knowledgeable and a perfectionist!

I only come here because I need my makeup. Sales associates are always extremely rude and apparently don’t know how to smile or provide good customer service. Please make a better location with sales associates that actually care about their job.

Terrible customer service!!! I went to this store location around 3 weeks ago to pick up some more eyebrow gel. I just stood by the cash waiting for anyone to notice me (which they did from the beginning) and just pass me the color that I needed. The girl working there made me feel unwelcome by saying to her coworker ‘wait I’ll check what she wants’ after me standing there for 10 min just willing to pay and get out. Easy sale.
