We have purchased several pieces of furniture from Steven Shell while renovating our beach house. The first time we went in, customer service was not great, but we still purchased the furniture because we found what we needed.nnWe went in today and had an awful experience. We walked back to the area where the sale is, and accidentally walked into the area where they hold the sold furniture. Instead of kindly letting us know we were in the wrong area, one lady came running to the back and yelled at us that we were not allowed back there and needed to get out. There were no signs saying it was an employee area only.nnAfter we left that area, another associate followed us around the rest of the time we were in the store. Meanwhile there were children running around the store jumping all over the furniture. Nothing was said about that.nnWe purchased the few small items we had in our hands and left. We will not be returning.

I bought two chairs before pandemic and went back to order two more. Great chairs! While the two Salesmen work their masks, the 5 saleswomen did not ( hanging mask on one ear doesn’t count). I left feeling very uncomfortable and wouldn’t recommend anyone go there. Customers were all wearing masks.nJust a heads up to folks who don’t want coronavirus.

The staff, the location, pricing, and every single collection you find in this well-sized furniture store is all superb. Definitely take the time to check them out next time you're in the Mt. P area, you will love everything you see and will no doubt get plenty of Inspo. We love the staff here, and we love that they support locally created pieces, too!n

Customer service was very poor which is a shame as they do have nice offerings. In addition to that we purchased furniture and were told that they supported two companies for delivery. Discount delivery is who were their sponsored delivery team. That company had very nice movers, but they ripped a $6000 rug then refused to file a claim. They stated they would call us back after they left to confirm the details. They never did. We called Steve and She’ll back and spoke to their manager expressing how their Preffered vendor was mistreating us and refused to contact us back. We expressed we were not asking Steve and Shell for anything just letting them know how their vendor was treating us and their response was” well what did you pay them, followed by “ we haven’t heard any other complaints “. They never acted concerned or cared. By the way their drivers had other bad reviews. All in all we will never shop there again. It’s not worth the frustration of being treated poorly.
