I live down the street from here so i can multiple times a week. I have decorated my house very nicely with most items i get from here. You can find some really great things. My only complaint is that the pricing is hot or miss. A lot of the furniture is prices extremely high in my opinion. It seems to me they would sell even more if they wouldnt price things at such high amounts. I still love it but i hate that so often i have to pass on items because the cost is just too high.

This is about the donation and pick-up side of the business. Getting an 'immediate' appointment for PU was not good so I'm glad I started early and planned ahead. But once the appointment was made and the day/timeframe confirmed, Habitat was good with their window of time and calling in advance to estimate time of arrival. They took nearly all of my items. Would not take dining room chairs w/o a table or my area rugs due to pets. One glitch is that my list of items I planned to donate 'changed'. When the driver arrived, he was hesitant about taking the load I had because it didn't 'match' my original appointment list of items. It was clear this was a 'logistics' issue and I did feel somewhat errant about this. But I noted that I didn't have half the stuff I thought I would (I was able to sell it) and what I did have was smaller and easily 'swapped'. One thing I would recommend is the ability to update the list at their website. This feature does not exist. While their appointment confirmation note says you can make a change, it leaves it to the driver to determine if he/she can handle the change. It seems to me a 'day of' change could leave the consumer with items and no time to find alternate pick up solutions. Example...10 dining room chairs! It is a good cause and I hope the items will go to good use.

I was very impressed with this Habitat for Humanity. The merchandise quality is outstanding and a lot of pieces are brand new. Lots of things to see and most everything you can think of can be found there. The prices are excellent. Everything is great about this place .
