Few things I’d like to share - First I am relocating and in the middle of a huge change professionally and personally, so I was dreading spending days or weeks narrowing down furniture for our new home. I went in with almost no idea of what I wanted. I didn’t have colors picked out, style, etc because I just haven’t had the time. Then I met Chris, who helped me narrow down a style, then a color and a feel/comfort that would suit me and my family. We were looking at swatches of colors, leg styles, nail heads, arm styles, etc and I never felt overwhelmed. I also didn’t feel over catered to like it wasn’t genuine. I was just a customer who met a really cool sales consultant with a passion for what he does. Rare these days. The ONLY complaint I have has nothing to do with Chris, but the delivery fee- a steep$500 but no real way around it with my schedule. I look forward to testing the quality of Havertys product. If it’s as good as the customer service I will be a fan for life.nnJennifer

James @ the North Charleston, SC location is the best! He has helped me with 2 separate purchases.nThe first purchase was dining room chairs. I explained to him what I was looking for and he showed me exactly what I had in mind.nThe second purchase was a accent chair for my den. Again, I explained to him what I was thinking about and he helped me pick out the perfect chair.nNo pressure sales. Great customer service. Thanks James!

My husband and I came to visit this store today looking for furniture for our new home. Stephanie was very helpful, she was around enough to answer questions and give assistance when needed, yet not overly clingy and aggressive like some sales reps who follow you around the whole store. They have a huge selection for every part of the home, great quality and a very diverse array of collections. She got our information and emailed us all the pieces we liked and gave us a variety of options for colors and arrangements as most pieces are a la carte and you can mix and match some things.

Chris was so helpful in my purchase of a sofa sleeper with a matching chair. He even picked out the pattern for the pillows when l told him my accent colors. He also picked out the material l wanted for the matching set.nHe took his time of explaining about the mattress, the material, the patterns and etc. If you need help ask for Chris.

My wife and I are in the process of furnishing a new home. We had never been to a Havertys store before but as soon as we met our sales consultant, Chris, we felt confident that it would be a good experience. We walked out of the store 2 hours later, very happy with our purchase and overall experience. Chris is very experienced and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and made thoughtful recommendations.nnWe will return to Havertys for any future purchases.
