The family court system here is a joke. The judge would not let me tell anything for my side, and then put me on higher amount of child support than was requested, totally ignoring to even look at the previous court order that has been in effect for 4 years. My ex makes 26 dollars an hour, I'm unemployed and was still managing to pay half of all the expenses of our child, per court order... and the judge decided that he needed to increase it by almost $300... perfect example of if you're Male, you have no voice in a family court.
