This is a State (national) treasure! The craftsmanship in the pieces produced here is unmatched. Our family has been buying pieces from Woody's since the 1950's.

This is a really unique place. Woody has an awesome history, much of it displayed on one of the walls in the store. Woody's doesn't really make normal chairs, their chairs look like most others in the pictures, but up close they are incredible, with amazing craftsmanship and wood finishes. Rumor has it that they donated small chairs to the Kennedy children and those chairs are now in the Smithsonian

We own 2 chairs, a cedar chest, a hurricane lamp, and an assortment of small items, we met Mr Arvil Woody, he graciously took the time to show us the shop. A true N.C. Treasure, we love the chairs too.
