Just purchased our 5th student violin this last weekend! Each time we've traded in the outgrown instrument for a larger one I've been impressed with the variety and quality of instruments available. We've always left feeling like we've received the best violin available for our budget, the full attention of staff & owners, including Charles and Chris, and just a great experience. Also grateful they give my kids the opportunity to play each instrument and give their opinion on sound and feel. Please keep up the great work!

I've been coming here since I was a little girl! Charles is incredible kind, and the staff is so knowledgeable in all things music & violin related! They have a great trade-in policy that, again, I've been using since I was young. Due to COVID, appointments are required and only one person can attend with the player. This makes it slightly tricky if you are a student or teacher wanting to accompany with a parent as well. Luckily, Charles Liu actually has a "testing" option where you can take a violin (they take credit card info down but don't charge anything unless you don't bring it back!), for up to one week to test it out and make sure it's the best fit for student & teacher. I'd recommend calling or going in if you have more questions- the staff can explain much better than I can. All in all they are seriously so great to work with- definitely will be a customer for life!

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Although the receptionist was very pleasant and professional, I hated working with Charles. He is very rude and condescending. My husband and I went to Charles to replace some violin strings that broke on my son's violin. Since he is new to the instrument, we didn't want to invest hundreds of dollars in a violin. Charles didn't seem to care and belittled us on not purchasing an expensive violin. He was YELLING at us, basically telling us we are bad parents for not putting a fortune down on an instrument we weren't sure our son wanted to play. The poor receptionist turned red and looked terribly embarrassed for how immature Charles acted. I tell everyone I talk to to AVOID him. I sure hope he learns proper customer service before he loses anymore business.

So happy with our son's new cello! Upon a recommendation from our son's cello teacher, we came in 2 years ago to upgrade his original $500 cello to a much better long-term cello. Charle's Liu's staff was great! This was a great cello for our son and he enjoyed his cello time much more on this superior instrument. Unfortunately, this cello had a picture fall off the wall and break it! We went to Mr. Liu for a repair quote and ended up deciding it was time to upgrade to a new cello. He was more than fair with us and, again, we are thrilled with this new new instrument and Mr Liu and his staff's treatment of us through the process.
