Awesome station hub with access to Amtrak, capeFLYER, MBTA Commuter Rail, the Red line Subway, Silver line electrified buses to the Waterfront, South End & Airport plus the local, regional and national Bus Terminal.nThe station has a plethora of restaurants including fast food, fast casual, takeout and sit down plus a few stores like CVS.nRight outside you have the entire city at your fingertips with the Waterfront, South Boston, Government Center, Restaurants, Museums and the Rose Kennedy Greenway! I had a poor experience with the staff here... They contradict themselves, by advertising services that don’t exist. They said there was first class on our train and there wasn’t. The staff yelled at my 82 year old Grandmother for taking her sweet time. Other than that great experience highly recommended

This is almost certainly Boston's largest transit terminal, and it is complete with a full food court and everything. It is fairly easy to navigate, which is good considering how massive it is and how many levels the structure itself has. The one improvement would be to run the Silver Line from here to Dudley/Nubian underground in an extension of the Busway Tunnel currently used through the Seaport District, and surfacing immediately at the the Dudley/Nubian terminal. I realize that this would be massively expensive and probably prohibitive to the point of never happening, but it would be nice to eliminate some of the traffic congestion along Silver Line Routes 4 & 5. I've also always wondered where the Busway Tunnel goes beyond South Station?

Huge place with eateries inside station. It can be overwhelming to find the right line currently with renovations. Restrooms inside. Great location.

It was empty. No place to sit. Schedule seems pretty sparse. Had to wait 3 hours for the commuter rail.
