Save time and money; go some place else

What can I say. Read the reviews. I wished I had. Worst company ever. So unprofessional. If I could leave negative stars I would. They are great and prompt getting you what you think is a great bid! They collect your money, then the fun begins. They wont call you back. They call you when they are good and ready, and upon setting appointments with you, they NEVER are on time or keep the appointment. I must have wasted 20 hours meeting and waiting for their crews to show up. Multiple times, they did not show up at all, and gave every lame excuse they could as to why they didn’t make their commitment. Their project manager, Amy, what a joke. All she does is call you to extort more money out of you “so they can do the job right” or make promises which they never keep. She never returns calls for problems or concerns. Same with the owners. I had 3 jobs lined up and paid for. They all cost more money, which I found out after my old tile and floor were removed (to late to do anything but pay the extra). I understand there are unforeseen things in a flooring bid, but these are things, like product and finish quality, which I requested the best they have when meeting with the bidder. They did hundreds of dollars in damages to my house and refused to come back and fix. In fact the final job had to be done twice (hard wood flooring), and still was a pretty poor job. Spare yourself the aggravation and frustration and find a professional who wants to do a good job…not this company , that cares only about money and not their customers.

My overall experience was good. Our installer (Nephi) was wonderful and did an awesome job. They did not measure our stairs correctly, so we were short on product. Because of that, we opted to not do the stairs. Which worked out because carpet on stairs was a better option for us. I dropped a star off because before the job was even completed, Utah Flooring and Design charged our credit card for the remaining balance. Which lead to problems getting a refund for product/labor we didn't use.

Excellent work. Couldn't be happier. We had carpeted areas worn down by high traffic and wished for it to be switched out with tile that looks like wood. I love their service of texting/emailing about when their contractors are expected to arrive, and they called about 20 minutes prior to arriving. The tile guy, Jeff, was amazing. He took extra time to line up the tile edge lines with the center of the front door and the center of the hallway for symmetry. The project did take longer than planned, but I expected that. In this day of coronavirus and construction in extremely high demand, I don't think one should expect a construction project to end exactly on time. I would rather a project look good rather than end quickly. I highly recommend them.

Do not give this company your business. They have no respect for your time or money. Cameron came out and measured the square footage for our backsplash and gave us a quote. (He was great and the only good thing about my experience). I paid the deposit for half the price of the total cost, and we got our installation date scheduled. I requested the days off of work, so that I could be there with the installer in case they needed anything. When it came to the day of our installation, our installer never showed up. They give you a 2 hour window to allow time for the installer to finish up at their previous job. At the end of our 2 hour window, I attempt to reach out to the project manager to see if our installer is running late. The project manger, Tara, was unresponsive, so I sat around waiting all day for an installer to never show up. I took the days off work for nothing. At this point, I just want the money for our deposit returned. I finally get a call back from the project manager days later, and she supposedly initiates the refund process, and says it may take a few days to show up into our account. 2 weeks later, I still haven't received my refund, so I call them back. Tara says that the refund was sent over to the billing department, and it is out of her hands. When talking to the billing department, they tell me that they just need approval from the owner to get the deposit refunded. What have you guys been doing for 2 weeks?
