Love the store. They offer on TV no finance charge for 90 days, no credit check & no application fee. Well the company they use to finance charges at $39.95 or $49.95 application fee. Then after going back over to the store 3 days later because they were having a discount on the application fee to $3.17. Upon starting the application process I was THEN told the $3.17 would have to be paid that day (no big deal) but then in 13 days the remaining application fee would be due. Say what? I had said all along I could just pay it out outright but would like to hold onto our money if it was truly same as cash for 90 days. In short the ladies in the very back of the store (alternate financing) were so confusing & didn't appear to know what they were talking about. Extremely frustrating. Soooo I just went to the main desk in the middle of store & purchased a new mattress. I was checked out in less than 5 minutes. Thank you Melinda for your help in our purchase. I would give Ashley Furniture Store a 5 Melinda a A+

Says they're open on Sunday but when you call it's says they're closed and open 12-6pm. Update your site and voicemail.

My husband and I purchased a whole new bedroom set and a sectional couch back in December 2020. Our sales rep was able to schedule a delivery date for our bedroom set before we left the store that day. It was delivered within a few weeks and we had no issues at all. The couch on the other hand has been a complete nightmare. The representative informed me that he did not have a date on the couch at that moment, but he would let me know within a week of the date of purchase. I waited and waited but received no calls. I called into the customer service number and they informed me that they did not even have an estimated date but she put in a ticket or something and she would return my call within 7-14 business days to give me an updated status. Guess what? No call was returned. I then called up to the store and asked if any update was available about the couch. The man I spoke With was very kind and told me that the estimated date was March 27 and that I could keep checking in to see if it moved up. I called again to check another day and it was moved to March 1. Today I called In to check one more time, as I needed to put in time at work to request the day off in advance to be here for the delivery. This time, I gets very rude woman on the phone who felt the need to make it seem like I was stupid and didn’t know what the word “estimated” meant. She was so kind to tell me the definition word for word. She informed me that it would probably be April before I hear anything. I have been very patient with this whole process, especially considering I was told when I purchased the couch that I would have a date within a week of purchase. I informed the woman of this and she basically said that the sales rep lied to me and there’s nothing she could do about it and it was my fault because I “didn’t read the terms and conditions”. I am not ignorant to what I sign and I listen to what I am told by the professional in the situation. I asked about canceling and she informed me I had to wait 3 more weeks to cancel my order or else she would charge me to cancel it. So basically what I’m understanding from this situation is that Ashley Furniture condones their representatives lying to and degrading customers, yet they don’t want to own up to it. I am very understanding that production has slowed because of the pandemic. If the representative would have been honest with me from the beginning I would have either selected a different sofa that WASNT back ordered so far, or I would have purchased elsewhere and saved myself the headache of dealing with this. This was not my first issue with Ashley, but it will be my last.

Though we haven’t received our furniture yet because we just ordered, our service at the Ashley showroom was amazing. We were greeted and initially helped by the general manager and once we had specific questions were connected with our rep, Yvette. I cannot say enough good things about Yvette. She was helpful when needed, but gave us space to look and discuss on our own. Even when we were indecisive and weighing options, she gave practical advice but didn’t try to sway us. We had not closed on our home yet, and when we did 2 days later and discovered that one of our pieces wouldn’t fit, we were able to adjust the order headache free. The lead time on the furniture is 12 weeks but that is on par, if not a little better, than everywhere else we looked. Yvette was very transparent about the shipping issues that have been occurring. Overall just a great customer service experience!

My boyfriend and I purchased a new bedroom set in December 2020. They scheduled our delivery date and told us it was going to get here within few weeks. We went to make a payment and asked for our delivery date once again and they told us our stuff was being delivered in February. February passed and still nothing. No updates from Ashley Furniture. March we received a call saying that our bedroom set was going to be delivered. Our bed and nightstand had come but our dresser didn’t. Nobody from Ashley furniture informed us that our dresser was damaged. Our dresser was delivered a couple of weeks later. Then the ladies in the back never know what’s going on when it comes to making a payment. They always seem to be lost. Also, they charge more money than what the sales prices say. The math never adds up when you do the calculations. Never again buying from Ashley Furniture. Very unprofessional.
