The store has a whole was amazing and has been each time we’ve been there. Very friendly staff who are great at making you feel welcomed and wanted. We specifically dealt with Chris and he was amazing. Had to make a few different trips but asked or waited for him each and every time because of how good he was. He was super friendly, joked with us, cared about what was best for us, and even remembered some previous things mentioned from the first time we had visited.
My husband and I went in looking for a new living room set as we recently moved to North Carolina. As soon as we walked on the door we met Ruth. She approached with a wave, pleasant demeanor, and a willingness to help and make sure all of my questions were answered. Overall, it was a smooth experience from start to finish with Ruth’s knowledge and professional insights making the experience that much more enjoyable.
Ruth greeted me right away and listened attentively to my inquiry. She was very knowledgeable and patient as we discussed merchandise features and pricing. The showroom had all the items I saw online so I was able to see, feel, and touch everything. My online chat experience, before going to the store, was great too. They were having a super sale too so I feel like I got a really good deal on a LR package. Way to go RTG and Ruby!
I bought a 63 inch entertainment center for my living room. The entire time I was at the store, not one person even batted an eye in our direction to offer us some help, and when I told a sales rep what I wanted, he rushed me through the checkout process as if I was just wasting his time. I understand everyone has their days, so I didn't take it too personally.. but when they delivered my entertainment center to me, the delivery men stood it up on its side (longways still in the box) and just left without even saying goodbye. For some context, I am 89 pounds with some health issues and in no position to be trying to lay down an entertainment center that weighs probably 4 or 5x as much as I do, that also contains GLASS. It took me hours to lay down every blanket, towel and pillow in my house just so I can bring the box down without shattering the glass in the entertainment center, breaking a bone, or breaking the floor, which these two very muscular men probably could've done with zero issue if one hadn't been on the phone with someone the whole time or if they had even said more than two words to me.
Chris was amazing. I walked in on a time schedule, had a plan and knew what I wanted... but I did want to look a little. Poor Chris followed me around the store keeping up w/my questions and side conversations all while doing his job on the administrative side. He kept up and didn’t miss a beat or catch an attitude once. I’m a tough cookie w/an assertive personality and he rolled with allll the punches. Very happy w/the amount of time I spent in the store. My bed was delivered the next week. I am waiting a couple months on the couch delivery but can’t do much about a back order when the whole country shuts down. He even sent me a little postcard a couple weeks later. Nice touch!nI’m coming to CHRIS for my next furniture purchase. Thanks Chris :)
