Always friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to help me find exactly what I needed.
I am very upset with this company. My husband and I placed two separate orders paid in full! The first order was placed in June which included a full size bedroom set. The second order was placed in July for my dining table and chairs. I was told that it would take six to eight weeks for everything to arrive due to COVID, and I was very understanding. The first time, I was told my bedroom set would be in stock to order in September. I called again for an update since I haven’t heard from them. I was told my bedroom set won’t be in stock until the end of October. I have waited patiently, and this company has not called me or my husband to update us! Every time we call, it’s always something different. If we are spending our hard earned money, I feel like we should have an update especially since our bedroom set is delayed.. We were offered free delivery for our dining room set due to our bedroom set being delayed. When our dining room set arrived, they asked for it to be delivered Wednesday. I informed them that it would have to be delivered on a Saturday because my husband and I both work during the week, so it would need to be delivered on the weekend. No compromise. My husband had to pick up our dining room set up on a Saturday and one of our dining chairs had a cracked leg.This is ridiculous! I just want my dining room chair fixed, and I want a refund for the bedroom set!!
I am very unhappy. I came here in July and paid in full for a sectional and its delivery. I was told it would arrive in about 6-8 weeks, give or take. They politely explained that due to how the world is right now, this is basically how every furniture store has to work, which I understood. Now on week 7, I decided to call this morning and ask for an update. I was told it hadn't even been ordered yet due to it being on backorder until November. No one thought to call and inform me of this, so I have been waiting patiently for weeks for no reason. I do understand that the pandemic has drastically slowed down production and shipping, but failure to notify me of this is very upsetting and wrong. I assume even after ordering it in November, it would still take several more weeks to arrive. Regardless, waiting two to four to who knows how many months for something I have spent a large sum of hard-earned money for is pretty ridiculous to me. It is clearly an unreasonable amount of time to wait. So I asked if there was any way to cancel the order (an order that has not even been PLACED yet) and receive a refund. I was told this was not an option, as they could only cancel and give me store credit. Half my current lease will be up before I even have a place to sit in my living room. I just want a refund at this point.
Delayed shipments and no phone calls was an issue for me way before the pandemic. In 2019 around June or July, They ordered the wrong table set for me but I just decided to keep it. I wanted a dining table with chairs but got a bar table with bar stools made by the same brand. One of the stools were broken so they had to reorder another one. The shippers informed me of that when they got to my place. The wait was long for that stool to come in as well and I had to keep checking. A year later... and a stool is breaking apart and the bar table as well.
I hate to leave a bad review, I know the pandemic is causing delays in every industry. However, we ordered and paid in full in June and never once received a phone call or simple email to let us know of any delays. We have called multiple times over the last three months and the date has pushed every time. I would think they could give a more realistic time frame or at least the curtesy of an email to let me know when to expect our order. Everyone has to adapt communication during this time to keep customers updated.
