I ordered a 11 piece bedroom set online from Aarons on Maryland Avenue in Hagerstown, MD, the delivery arrived today; however, when I opened the door to receive the delivery, the driver states that he is not to enter my home to delivery the furniture (blank stare). First of all, I wasn't aware of this when I ordered on 5/11 not to mention I went in the store and still the no contact delivery was ever mentioned. I understand everyone is in an uproar over the pandemic and I took precautions for the delivery, I even met the driver wearing a mask. What don't make logical sense to me, is I'm a single woman, I ordered a King size bedroom set and the male delivery person wants to do a drop and dash, no sir cancel my order, that's ridiculous. What happens to the elderly customers?The store is open, has a revolving door with customers in and out, not to mention the exchange of money and you're promoting a no contact delivery, does this really makes any kind of sense. I understand no contact delivery for food but that doesn't work for furniture delivery, especially large or multiple items. My suggestion is furniture stores need to first stay closed if they can't accommodate the customers. Secondly disclose the no contact delivery so customers would have the option to press arrange the delivery or opt out. I didn't have the option until the furniture arrived and I told the driver to cancel my delivery, I loved the furniture but there's other stores that do deliver properly. I dealt with Aaron's for more than 20 year's, I guess it's time for me to retire from them. Very disappointed ud83dude22.nnTeresa P.
I recommend to not shop at this store. Hagerstown specifically. My wife and I bought a couch from them and the next day it smelt funky and was masked with Febreze. After lifting up the cushions, we noticed that there was an abundant amount of dog hair. We called numerous times about this issue. All we wanted was someone to clean it. When I finally spoke to the manger and told him about this issue, he said, “Theres nothing we can really do about it.” That is the response and assistance you will receive if you have any type of issue with them. They do not care about customers. Also, all of the merchandise within the store is over priced. They were trying to sell us a kitchen table for $1000+ but we found the same one for $150 on amazon. Do your homework before buying from this location or you’ll make the same mistake we did.
My mother been leasing from Aaron's for over a year and not once has she allowed an automatic payment. and now when our country is in a state of emergency Aaron's makes not one but two unauthorized charges to her account when she called to find out why these payments where taken without her permission she was meet with rudeness disrespect and a total disregard for her concerns and financial situation not only did she not get any answers but the manager of the store tried to bully her into paying them an extra $100 this is unacceptable at anytime but now at this time in the mist of this crisis is appalling
It is a good way to buy something just don't miss a payment the manager is very nasty and threatining he should not be dealing with the public when the item I have is paid off I will never go there again and I will tell anybody I know not to shop there as a customer you should be treated with respect not like a criminal they need a management change immediately don't suggest you shop there ever
New location management does not honor any deals and will treat you as if you have not PAID 5 accounts in the last 5 years.nUnfortunate that Jody no longer works for the company, he took care of his customers.
