The food here is truly spectacular. Also, hospitality and customer service were flawless. The house itself is beautifully decorated with antiques. However, it's said that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. The exterior needs a great deal of attention. The drive was rutted. Handrails are wobbly or nonexistent. Lawn furniture is unappealing, haphazard. Porch is messy, cluttered. Handicapped ramp is blocked. Many, many stairs. Rooms are badly in need of dusting. Bathroom is updated but our shower had a high step into a tub. Complimentary soap and shampoo were minimal but linens were good. The bed was quite comfortable. There was no TV or music source in our room, books were limited to food and art, lack of gardens or nearby attractions. Given the higher than average room rate, more amenities were expected.
Perfectly cooked French cuisine. Pascal & Sandy never fail to impress!

Absolutely loved the warm atmosphere. Sandy was great. The food, the hospitality, the knowledge was great. The look of the old cottage takes you back in time. So peaceful and relaxing. I recommend this place to everyone.
I love this old house! The dinner we had was average. Some of it good, some just ok. I wish more attention paid to organization and decor. It was cluttered. Service was very good.
