Best haircut I have ever gotten! My stylist understood what I was looking for, my style and how I treat my hair, and exactly how my hair moves and waves. I even came in with a bad hair cut that I had given myself and she was able to fix it and give me something really great. I 100% recommend and will be going back.

I went in for a Valentine’s Day surprise with my husband for a couples massage. It was our first massage ever and man it was amazing! I had David and my husband had a lady (sorry can’t remember her name) and they both really made us feel welcomed and mapped out the whole process. It was so peaceful and relaxing and I definitely would come back here. Highly recommend! The facility it’s self is super clean and classy. The front desk staff is the most friendly people I’ve ever met. It’s worth the price.

The spa itself is absolutely gorgeous! I received a facial with Ashley, and it was amazing! My skin felt so refreshed and was glowing afterwards. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Ashley was very knowledgeable about the products that can be used for various types of skin, and consistently provided information about the products being used on me throughout the facial. I will definitely be going back!

I had an appointment for a simple short haircut. This took over an hour, which was frustrating, and would have taken even longer if I had let the stylist talk me into the shampoo that I neither wanted nor had time for. The website price list shows this should have cost $40, but I was charged $75, and by then I was running so late with my schedule that I had no time to argue so felt I had to pay it and leave as quickly as possible. My son called for me shortly after I left (I was driving) and they said they would credit my credit card for $25, which would reduce the price to $50, but even that is more than they advertised for what I got. Really, there was no styling involved; I simply got the same style I came in with, trimmed up, which is what I wanted, but usually takes only a half hour to get rather than over an hour. The haircut is fine, but not the best haircut I have ever got and not worth $75 or even $50. Yes, the staff was attentive, in that they took my coat and hung it up for me, and brought me a refreshing glass of cucumber water, but those services were not worth $10 to $35 more than the advertised price I was expecting to pay. I ended up annoyed rather than relaxed, and felt like a real chump. And I should add, I am not a sourpuss who doles out negative reviews, and it is very rare for me to say anything negative or even to leave a review at all, but this is how annoyed I was by the experience.

I went to Mynd Spa & Salon because of its convenient location. I picked Jackie because her name popped up for a convenient time. The experience was awesome, and my hair (evidently according to my people) hasn't looked this good in a long time. I gave Jackie general guidelines, and let her make the bigger decisions. I asked for advise and I asked her to explain what she is doing because I like understanding the effects of different treatments. In the end, I was very impressed and I enjoy looking at my hair in the mirror, which has not been true for a very long time. On top of all that, Jackie was really nice to talk to. The environment was very welcoming, and I plan to go back regularly.
