I am a very patient person and usually very understanding but I am at the end of my rope here. I have a family of 6, a son who is special needs. My husband in now unemployed because of covid. We live off of less than $2,000 a month our Bill's r more than that it leaves no $ left for food. We depend on our foodstamps. I was supposed to refile in Sept. Which I didn't realize, I filled an application online on Oct. 20th when I realized it, it is now Jan. 6, it's been about 80 days I have been waiting. I have called the 1800# 5 times the first 3 time i was t otto ld i didn't need to do anything i just had to wait. Then o. Dec 23 i was denied for not turning in the paperwork they asked for, but they never asked for anything I was told 3× I didnt need to turn anything in. When I called the 4th time I was told that I was approved in Nov. But for whatever reason it didnt go through, then I was denied but she can understand why and she thinks it's a malfunction and she was going to put in a work order, which should take 3-5 days. Again I wait and after 7 business days I call back and the person I talked to had no idea what she was doing. She told me that she could see into my case and didnt know what was going on. So I asked to speak with a supervisor, which I was told that I would have to wait for them to call me back with in 48hours. This is ridiculous. My case has been the same for 7 year the only thing that has changed in my husband is now unemployment. I don't get it at all.

Can never get an answer. Same as others here my snap was cut off in September. No notice or reapp sent to me. I reapplied in September and still no answer or food stamps. no pebt either even though they say we get them. No help for us. Shut everything down, put us out of work, our kids home 24/7 but no help or answers. Horrible support

Received a letter 10/31/20 saying my food stamps were suspended 9/30/20, when I followed steps for redetermination online as instructed in August, submitted 8/5/20. Hopefully I can get through the 1-800 phone line to find out info, because calling this office just leads to the phone ringing endlessly and from what others have said I'm not sure that leaving a voicemail here will even generate a response. Clearly issues have been festering here since before the pandemic, but come on! I've literally been eating a single ramen for dinner for a month! Help us out here! Everyone has been filling out everything online since May so THE PEOPLE WORKING HERE HAVE ALL OF EVERYONE'S INFO, THEY JUST DO NOT WANT TO HELP ANYONE.

Cannot get any information about the status of my food stamps. Keep getting vague letters in the mail telling me that they require more information but refuse to tell me what they need from me. I’m at the end of my rope.
