All I can say is Wow!! Jim and his crew are truly amazing craftsmen. Service and quality of work was superb. My daughter and I presented Jim with three acoustic guitars. Each needing extremely detailed enhancements along with set ups. One of these, an old Hofner acoustic I bought in Germany in 1978, went around the world with me during my military career, endured months of desert sand during Desert Storm, survived the South Georgia 500 year flood of 1994, where it was fully submerged for about two weeks, and 20+ years of storage in my attic. Jim and crew brought this treasure back to life and it plays and sounds better now than ever before. My old friend, has returned. Thank you Jim. I’m forever in your debt.

So glad to have Jim work on my guitars! Fantastic communication and a fast turnaround time! All work is quality! Clean, precise, and the way you want it! Best in the South! Don't take your guitar's, basses, etc. to the phony bologna big corporate's! They won't take their time to do it correctly! These guys WILL! Worth the wait and price! Thanks again!

Jim did a great setup on my 5-string bass. It is a budget model Sterling Music Man, and he's made it play like a much higher-dollar instrument. Good low action and fast playing with solid intonation and minimal fret buzz. I will definitely be going to him again to work on my other guitars!

Highly recommend Artisan Luthiers. Jim is obviously very skilled and knowledgeable, performed a setup and adjustment for my electric guitar. On top of that he’s easy to do business and all round nice guy...
