I sent multiple photographs of excellent furniture from my mother's estate.They said they could pick up everything, and we set up a pickup date. However......nThey only took a third of the items so I rescheduled to pick up the remaining furniture and they never showed up... and never called.nThe furniture would have been great for someone to have.nA waste of my time.nHabitat is a great organization.....It's too bad that this store is truly incompetent.nCall someone else who appreciates donated items.
I love Habitat for Humanity. I frequently find amazing things like the pictures I posted. My brother and I have furnished much of our new place with Habitat things including beautiful leather recliners and solid oak tables for less then particle board garbage in the retail furniture stores. You have to be dedicated. You won't always find what you are looking for on the first trip but it is definitely worth the effort. Check it out. Very nice people and they deliver as well. They also accept donations.
Super helpful staff. Hit or miss in what you'll find but when you hit... It can be fantastic. Beautiful furniture at reasonable prices.
