These people made a custom bookcase for us, and we couldn’t be happier about the excellent customer service and with the superb craftsmanship.nnAfter the first great experience, we went back for another custom project (a wall extender, as we call it, to keep our cats from leaping over a ledge into a stairwell). Again the service was excellent and the project exceeded our already high expectations.nnThe quality of work is exceptional.nnThis place is a gem.
The furniture we bought last year was beautifully made, no complaints about construction and appearance. However, it took a full year for the finish to stop smelling despite opening windows whenever possible and leaving drawers and cabinet open for two weeks to air out. We had expressed concern about the finish off gassing before making the purchase and were reassured it doesn’t last more than a few days. As this was in my sons bedroom we didn’t feel comfortable letting him sleep in there for several months. I love their furniture but will not buy from them again unless they can use a less toxic/smelly finish. You have the local and sustainable down, please add non-toxic to your list!
