Nakamura Mortuary

I shopped around on Maui and found Nakamura Mortuary to be honest and straight forward with both their services and prices. My request was for a simple cremation with a 15 minute view of my father for a family member who was flying in from the mainland. Nakamura was very accommodating and gracious and did not try to sell me on anything else which unfortunately I cannot say about their competitor. Thank you Kathy and Meghan.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! THE WOMEN HELPING OUR FAMILY FOR MY GRANDFATHER'S FUNERAL SERVICE WAS BEYOND RUDE! SHE YELLED AT US CONTINUOUSLY AND DID NOT CONSOLE US AT ALL! SHE TRIED TO DELAY OUR SERVICE FOR NO REASON WITH OUT ASKING!!! DURING THE CONSULTATION SHE DELAYED US FOR HOURS AND WAS SUPER RUDE! SHE DIDN'T FOLLOW THROUGH ON LOTS OF HER REQUESTS FOR THE FUNERAL. SHE WAS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE WAS RUDE TO EVERY FAMILY MEMBER AND MADE OUR DAY UNREASONABLY STRESSFUL!!! WORST EXPERIENCE IN COSTUMERS SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!! IRENE OR WHATEVER HER DAMN NAME IS, IS THE WORST!!!

Let's just say Thanksgiving Day is a wonderful day to use your crematorium. As we cook our dinners and give thanks. What a wonderful vision you brought to our table. And the young man from your answering service telling us it's just part of life.

Beyond awesome....Meghan and staff are truly passionate about their job duties and families they serve. Awesome.

While no one wishes to enter a funerl home, I have had to do this twice in a short period of time. I cannot say enough about the team at Nakamura. This genuine and sincere team assisted my only child in his journey home, after a sudden death. I cannot begin to define how they have truly cared about my son, myself, with genuine sincerity, and true respect. Their focus was us, not what we would or could purchase. While having lost family, I cannot express the feeling of having left the building and the island, knowing caring genuine people had entered my life.
