It is an old Hawaiian graveyard, a heaou, (sacred place). I love the lookout, the milkyway goes right over it, beautiful sunrise and sunset, and also controversy over who owns it and they have it barracaded so you cannot drive in have to park and walk.
Someone built a house over half the cemetary. So some graves are now covered and the house is on the market for sale now for two million. The cemetary is now Threatened of being sold as part of the property...so sad.
