Coyote Fresh Foods

In the middle of a pandemic, this store does very little to protect customers and community. One clerk wore a mask and one didn't. Because of the snowbird season, the store was crowded (only two small markets in this town), and many customers were not wearing masks or social distancing. This backward little town full of antimaskers is a super-spreader event waiting to happen. My opinion of the store didn't improve when I noticed one item I bought was way past the pull date.

My wife and I love Coyote Fresh.nFresh bread (ud83dudc4dud83cudffbsourdough) bakery.nExcellent ribs. Etc. Etc.nNice small town atmosphere.

Love this place! The staff are awesome. Best meat cuts in town. I frequently eat the pork ribs dinner and have never been disappointed.

Grocery shopping in Quartzsite is much different than grocery shopping almost anywhere. There are two small grocery stores as well as a Family Dollar and a Dollar General store.nnIn my opinion, you miss some of the essential Quartzsite experience when you do the major grocery run to Parker or Blythe.nnMy favored grocery store is the Coyote Fresh Foods located right on Main Street. In spite of the small (compared to city stores) size, the selection is amazing for its size, and it's known to have excellent meat.nnI enjoy getting my meat from the butcher and deli meats section in the rear of the store. You meet some very nice people, and the people who work there are as nice as nice can be.nnThey have an excellent selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. I was surprised at how large the produce section was. Someone was physically looking at shelves in produce and deli to make the store order. As with every other employee, he was pleasant and nice.nnAs you approach the cash register, there are boxes and boxes of DoD. I'd guess that stands for Donuts of the Day. I bought two at very good prices. And one didn't make it out of the parking lot. Definitely fresh and good.nnThe prices are a bit higher than I'm used to in larger cities, but you have to consider the driving time and the high gas costs we're currently experiencing.nnConsider this a rave review and a definite recommendation.

Good spot for steaks to bbq. Dont want to cook? The deli will hook you up for a small fee. Nice people there.
