I didn't understand the point of having a border patrol checkpoint here, until I read the news stories about how many drugs they've confiscated here. Agents just asked if I was a US citizen and if anyone else was in the car. Then they let me continue. They were nice, no issues. Thanks for getting cocaine, meth, etc. off the street.

This has to be the absolute rudest people I have ever dealt with in my entire life. No respect at all. I refuse to go back through the area because of the risk of dealing with the same situation.

They asked me if I was a US citizen, I said yes and they let me go. What they didn’t know is, I am not a US citizen.

This border checkpoint is in the middle of New Mexico. It is kind of weird if you ask me. I am left to wonder why it was put there.nnThis was my first time dealing with anyone from this agency. The agent was quick and courteous to me and my family.
