Consulate General of Guatemala in San Francisco, Ca

I have been help as soon as I get there and that is because I come prepared

It's been a long time since they don't answer the phone. Bet this is the worst consulate from all countries. If you're a Guatemalan and have the chance to go to L.A just do your business there. You're going to have a better experience. And you're stuff is gonna be ready on time.

Absolute mess. No organization.

Lets just say that the people who work there are not the brightest of bunch. Had to renew passport back in August and its December and nothing! I call them to inquire and just jotting down my number seems like a task for them, a sloth could work faster. Then they say they're going to call me back as soon as they find it, yet to hear from them. How do you lose someone's documents? Professionalism is a foreign concept at this place (Sf location).

Due to particular circumstances, I deal with various consulates at all times. Us Guatemalans should feel proud. I just had the best customer service interaction by phone. I spoke with Flor, and not only was she polite and patient, she was kind enough to research answers for me. She kept apologizing for this, even though she was providing excellent customer services. I rather she research my questions, than give me wrong info just to get me off the phone quicker. Thank you for this.
