My wife and I use to go to the Westerly, until it closed and now drive 45 minutes to go to the Warwick store. She spends much at this store brand, but I always feel reguardless of which store an arrogance from those who work there. We went there today at 6:10pm and the sign clearly says last customer let in at 6:30pm and closing at 7pm. They refused my wife entry, and when she simply asked why it says 6:30 last customer they refused to give her an answer, other than cause they say so, with there arrogant tone as if they are better than her. I know why they are going out of business, cause people who work there are absolutely rude to the customers. Glad to see them on there way to the unemployment line.

I am usually a fan of pier one but this Warwick store always has given me the creeps as in it is not a warm or engaging place at all. Today I finally figured out why as I had my 1st interaction with the store manager who is about as personable and warm as a block of cement. In my world of people relationships we would call him rude but I think that goes too far with someone I really don't know. And I also figured out from that encounter why the 1 or 2 very sweet and warm sales people that might actually be there are so dour and unhappy. How we lead says everything. Had to give it 2 stars because it is pier one and lots of pretty stuff.

Pier 1 from back in the day has changed soo much.It use to be reasonably priced but now its quite expensive. What they do stock is expensive to me but the quality is good..kind of limited selections.Nice cushions for benches and chairs .

It's a great store with great service! Always professional and polite and the store is always so bright and cheerful!
