Shop for less
I was very surprised at how empty the shelves were at the store! It almost seemed like the store was getting ready to close?!? My first impression was that the "greeter" was a person who looks for theives or so his shirt said. As I went to look at the jewelry display case, I was cut off by an employee who needed to use the phone to make an announcement. He didn't excuse himself or apologize, just cut me, A CUSTOMER, off. I felt perturbed by that, but was flabbergasted to find out that HE WAS THE STORE (shift) MANAGER that evening! I had an item that was slightly damaged and asked the clerk if the price could be adjusted. She needed to check with her manager... he said, "Why, what is wrong with it?" And, muttered something else yelling to her to tell me that it was afinal sale item! I felt uncomfortable and asked the cashier if the man liked his job or if he simple didn't like customers! She said, "Oh, no, that is just his normal attitude..." Then, she apologized as she could see i was upset. I didn't stick around to get the manager's name, but he was working tonight at 7:45 PM in the Las Cruces store! I will not return to that store and will recommend that none of my friends waste their time going there either!!!
