Big Hill Movers

I have used Big Hill Movers several times for full-house moves, furniture moving and junk removal. They are very professional, very efficient and very experienced. Anthony is very responsive and organized. They make the moving experience easy! Money well spent. I highly recommend them.

The team arrived and immediately went through the apartment with us to get an understanding of what we needed moved. In about an hour they had loaded everything from the one bedroom apartment that also doubled as a storage facility for parents living overseas. We were very happy with their attentiveness to making sure none of our belongings would be damaged during the move. The apartment was in the back half of a divided house, so we were sharing storage space in the shed, but they were very thorough and attentive to what belonged to us and made sure nothing was moved that belonged to the neighbors and nothing was left behind. They were great at our new house as well. They have a three hour minimum time, and they were a little under that, but rather than driving to their next job, they stayed until their time was up and assembled some shelving units for us which was very helpful. I am very pleased with their work and plan to use them again later in the month (today we moved my sister-in-law and later we're moving ourselves).

My wife and I hired Big Hill Movers to move an upright piano down one set of stairs into a moving truck. I would strongly advise against using this company. They were perhaps the most unprofessional company I've seen. Anthony scheduled a time with me and said they would arrive between 8 and 9 a.m. and I received two confirmation text messages stating that time frame. The day of the move I called when they had still not arrived by 9. Anthony then tried to convince me that he had said between 8 and 10. I told him that I had the confirmation texts and clearly remember him saying between 8 and 9. They nonchalantly arrived at 10:15 which held up our entire move which was from MA to NC. Not really a drive I wanted to be doing late into the night. They also brought up moving blankets which had rocks falling out of them all over our wood floors.They didn't seem to know how to use their own equipment either and flipped our very expensive piano back and forth until I suggested doing it another way. We ended up having to leave all our belongings on the sidewalk until they arrived and loaded the piano. Every one who was there helping had their time wasted, sitting and waiting and our long drive was held up because they couldn't keep their own schedule and didn't bother to call and let me know. Then when I did call, they tried to convince me that I was wrong.
