This review is long overdue but someone was asking about recommending movers and I had realized I never reviewed my movers and Varsity Moving did such a great for my family, we actually used them twice, both times within Monmouth County. We used them for our move from Marlboro to Millstone 7 years ago and they did a great job. When we moved from Millstone to Farmingdale this past year, we got a number of quotes and ended up with Varsity Moving again because their price was the best and we already knew the quality of their work. Respectful crew, on time, everything was as it was agreed on, everything was wrapped so well that nothing got broke, overall a good moving experience. They stayed until the job was done. Definitely would use them again.

I originally left a very good review but unfortunately now changing it due to the second part of our move. I want to be fair and the first part of our move went mostly smoothly and we were very happy with Varsity. Long story short we were told they could move a pool table for us. They couldn't finish it 1st day so they scheduled to do it another day. We told them we were on a deadline had to be out by certain date, they waited until last minute then refused to move our pool table. The 5 small guys that showed up did not look physically able to handle this job - but the part that made us angry is one man was overheard saying no way he was blowing out his back for this move SO they left and then someone called us up and the STORY was changed to the slate was loose and they didnt feel comfortable moving the pool table. NOT TRUE from what we saw. Due to desperation we ended up taking pool table apart to move it OURSELVES AND SLATE WAS TIGHT AS A DRUM! My 80 year old fil , hubby and a friend were able to move it but 5 professional movers were not! Tried calling multiple times to speak with owner/head guy and of course no call back!

Varsity Movers is excellent! We had a last minute change in moving date and our original movers could not accommodate. We called Varisty and they immediately came, gave a fair estimate and got us the date we needed. The men came the day before and helped wrap all the glass and art. Their work ethic was incredible. Very efficient, fair and kind. I would highly recommend them! 10 Stars!!
