LOVE Duston's! Their food is great, and their deserts, OH LORD are they fabulous!! Mr. Duston creates these lovely deserts all himself and it shows that his heart and soul is in it and I hope that Duston's is around for many many years to come! It has been around for my entire life so far and I can't imagine it not being there.
Stopped in for a quick lunch bite. Had a bunch of gluten free options which was awesome! Had a pastrami sandwich and awesome svc, several people asked if I needed anything
This bakery makes great cupcakes. Great cakes. Great pastry and pies. The shop is a bodega on steroids. Extremely happy. I'll be back.
I recently purchased a cake for my husband's 55th birthday. It was a custom cake somewhat of an odd request. It was supposed to be a chewing tobacco can.nnI did bring in a can for reference and explained that it was odd but since we have bought cakes from Duston's for several years I knew that it would come out great.nnHowever the cake I picked up was very unfinished. The piping was terrible, the frosting to cake ratio was horrible. I also asked for a marble cake. If the cake designer didn't create this cake and had an assistant or other worker make this cake then she should have looked at it before it left the establishment.nnI'm so dissatisfied with this cake, I don't think I'll be making a purchase from your place again.
The best for local fresh pastries. Croissants, muffins, and unbelievable donuts. Frostings And fillings are light and home made, and the dough is to die for. Hot lunches are pretty damn good. And def better than some prepacked microwave goods. Give em a shot, and you won't be disappointed. It's worth it.
