Walmart Bakery

This department has the worst customer service! I will not be taking my business back there! I had special ordered a cake for an event for my son with a specific design. The clerk I placed the order took down my information and my phone number that way if they had any questions they would contact me. He assured me the order would be done by the requested time that I needed to pick it up. I went to the bakery the following day waiting as usual for assistance in the bakery, no one ever seems to be in there. The woman is running around looking for my cake. She looked frantic as she was searching for my cake. She then found a manager to help. In all that time searching for the cake I had ordered I found out that the order was never placed. I had to be at the event within that half hour, I was running late as it was. The manager came over apologized but did nothing further to help me out. All that he suggested was that I take one of the display cakes. No I specifically ordered a certain cake with a specific design. He never once offered to make up a cake for me and said there was nothing he could do for me. I will NEVER take my business there again! The look of disappointment on my son’s face was disappointing. If you can’t please a customer and offer any suggestions or go above and beyond for that person then what the hell kind of business do you run?! Oh wait I forgot it’s only Walmart! Congratulations you’ve just lost my business!
