Stopped in for a light lunch. Redeeming a gift card. Purchased a loaf of whole wheat bread. Toast this morning was awesome!!!
Use the Cinnamon Chip loaf for French Toast. You will LOVE it!
My new favorite breakfast & lunch ud83dude0b . . .nEveryday that I can, I get coffee w/a slice of bread ud83cudf5e. I've been searching for a replacement for my grandmas kolaches since she passed & they've got the closest replacement for hers. They use a different bread dough than she did though. Really good kolaches. Great sandwiches & excellent staff as well.
Sooo good! The staff are really nice, and the bread is delicious! Highly recommend the Popeye!
Only trust the sandwiches. I tried a bunch of other items from the 156th location and it was so disappointing. Their quality of baked goods is just not what I consider edible let alone a treat and I seriously wonder if anyone who works there actually tries the baked goods. Tried the cinnamon bread and it was raw in the middle, tried kolaches and it was the same. The mud bar was crusty dry and the whole wheat brownie actually tasted like it was baked in the same pan they use for their dog food. :/ BUT we had sandwiches and they were really good so I can only say I recommend their sandwiches. Wish I could say more than that!
