I had two family members that passed away we used Cole both times. They are very professional and respectful at what they do. They made the planning process very easy. My loved ones looked peaceful and looked like their normal self. I really appreciate their professionalism and warm courtesy during such a difficult time.
Our parents services were at the W Grand Blvd location. They even took care of, via our request, the prepaid arrangements. When it was time to use that arrangement, the staff was very helpful with the finalization. No sudden hidden fees. Our only small complaint, which didn't change the circumstances, was what they did to our fathers hair. It looked nothing like the picture we gave them as a guide. In any case, we knew what our parents wanted and JHCFH helped us achieve that.
Cole Funeral Home does not honor Veterans. We asked that our family member have an Honor Guard. We were told that only active soldiers killed in duty were allowed that benefit. All vets as long as they are honorably discharged are entitled to an Honor Guard. The family has to request it and the funeral home makes the arrangements.nThey said our loved one would have a 3 gun volley salute at the cemetery, well that didn't happen.nVery sad, this man was a Korean War Vet and deserved to be honored by the country he served.nShame on you Cole Funeral homeud83dude14!
