Great service at this location. Bread and cookies always delicious.nMy problem is the coffee, roasted by Mighty Good Coffee. The coffee is mediocre, at best. And it's worth knowing that Mighty Good has been accused of racial discrimination, wage discrimination, and in 2019 fired a large portion of it's cafe staff after they tried to unionize. (Update to this statement below) Not shopping at Avalon again until they at the very least have an alternative coffee available.nn*Updated review after response from the owner:nThank you very much for the reply and explaining the situation. I wish more of this info was public knowledge, or if it is, there was an easy way to find it. The press unfortunately did not paint MG in a positive light.
